Light Is For Everyone...

The Village of Yalbac Replaces Kerosene Lamps with Solar Lamps from The Grid Earth Project

In the area North of Spanish Lookout a lovely village called Yalbac goes about their day in the normal fashion as they have for years. Planting, working their fields and harvesting their crops. However the nights are now much different in Yalbac. Because of the solar powered lights provided by The Grid Earth Project the homes no longer emit a dim yellow glow of kerosene lanterns. They shine brightly with clean and safe solar lights which are 30 times brighter than a kerosene lamp.

Some children were unable to complete their school assignments after dark because the kerosene fumes were just too unbearable to work by. Instead they woke up two hours early and walked to school so they could have their assignments completed for the day. Today in Yalbac, students are able to study for hours at home in the evening under safe, effective bright solar lights from the Grid Earth Project.
